3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Real name

Accounts are created using email-based authentication only. Social login providers are not supported. Email addresses are verified as part of account creation.

3.2 User Content (AI Prompts)

Promptrbox allows users to create, store, and manage AI prompts.

• Prompts are private by default.
• Users may choose to make individual prompts publicly visible to other registered users.

Public prompts may be:

• Viewed by other registered users.
• Bookmarked or saved within other users’ accounts.

Users may change the visibility of prompts at any time. However, once a prompt is made public, Promptrbox cannot guarantee that other users have not copied, duplicated, or stored the prompt separately. Changing a prompt back to private or deleting it does not affect copies that may already exist outside of our systems.

We reserve the right to review and moderate prompts to enforce our policies, comply with legal obligations, or address abuse.

3.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to:

• Maintain user sessions.
• Enable account features such as “remember me”.
• Improve site functionality and usability.

Cookies may be session-based or persistent, depending on the feature.

3.4 Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, non-identifying information about site usage and performance. This data is used solely to understand how the Service is used and to improve reliability and performance.

We do not use advertising, retargeting pixels, or behavioral profiling.

4. What We Do Not Do

While Promptrbox does not externally distribute user content, publicly shared prompts may be accessed and saved by other registered users within the platform.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

• Provide and operate the Service.
• Authenticate users.
• Store and display user-created prompts.
• Maintain platform security and prevent abuse.
• Communicate service-related notices.

6.1 Backups

System backups are maintained for operational reliability and disaster recovery. Backups are retained for up to 90 days.

6.2 Deletion

Users may permanently delete prompts and accounts through their profile settings. Deleted data may remain in backups until backup retention cycles expire.

7. Security Measures

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including:

• HTTPS encryption.
• One-way hashed passwords (never stored in plaintext).
• Restricted internal access to user data.

Access to personal data is limited to authorized customer service and internal technical support personnel as required to operate the Service.

No system is completely secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Third-Party Services

Promptrbox currently relies on the following third parties:

• DreamHost (hosting and infrastructure).
• Google Analytics (aggregated site performance analytics).

No additional third-party services currently process user personal data. Any future integrations will be disclosed through updates to this Privacy Policy.

9. Payments

The Service is currently free. Paid features may be introduced in the future.

If payments are added:

• Payments will be processed by a third-party provider (e.g., Stripe).
• Promptrbox will not store or process credit card or payment card information directly.

10. User Rights & Controls

Users may:

• Delete their account and stored prompts through their profile settings.

Promptrbox does not currently support:

• Data export.
• Formal data access requests.

These features may be added in the future.

11. Children’s Privacy

Promptrbox is intended for users who meet the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. No explicit age verification is performed.

12. International Users

Promptrbox is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the processing and storage of your information in the United States.

While we strive to respect privacy principles reflected in laws such as GDPR and CCPA, we do not guarantee compliance with all jurisdiction-specific requirements.

13. Public Content Disclaimer

When you choose to make a prompt public, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Other registered users may view, bookmark, or save the prompt.
• Promptrbox cannot control how other users reproduce, store, or use public content.
• Public prompts should not contain confidential, sensitive, or proprietary information.

You share public prompts at your own risk.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice displayed upon your next login.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
